Republican beats Democrat for year on Hermon board
THURSDAY, MARCH 18, 2010
HERMON — In the race for a one-year unexpired term on the village Board of Trustees, Republican Benjamin D. Murcray defeated Democrat Sheri J. Smith, 20-13, Tuesday.
Incumbent Trustees Richard J. Bardeschewski Jr., a Republican, and Conservative Marlene Carvel each received 27 votes. They ran unopposed for two two-year seats.
