The following were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:
■ Kevin A. Stewart, 43, of 258 Champion St., West Carthage, faces charges of felony DWI, felony aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to signal a turn following his arrest at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on Bridge Street in West Carthage. Police listed his blood alcohol content at 0.14 percent. State law establishes 0.08 percent BAC as the threshold for intoxication.
He is charged with felonies because he was convicted of DWI after being stopped March 7, 2009, at State Street and Riverside Drive in Carthage, the same location where his alleged failure to signal was witnessed Wednesday night, police said.
■ Christopher K. Jones, 21, Henderson, was arrested by Jefferson County sheriff's deputies at 2:30 a.m. Monday on Route 178 in Adams on charges of aggravated DWI and having inadequate lights. He had a breath test reading of 0.18 percent BAC, matching the state's minimum level for aggravated DWI.
■ Briana R. Alford, 19, Norfolk, also was charged Thursday with failure to keep right, not using headlights and unauthorized use of a driver's license when she was stopped on Route 56 in the town of Norfolk, state police said. Her blood alcohol content was 0.16 percent, troopers said.
■ Asa J. Moulton, 36, of 1106 Route 420 Brasher Falls, also was charged Wednesday with drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana after being stopped at a checkpoint on Route 420 in the town of Norfolk, state police said. No BAC was available.
■ Kyle A. Griffin, 24, Brasher, also was charged Thursday with not using headlights and failure to signal a turn when he was stopped on Main Street in the village of Massena, state police said. His BAC was 0.10 percent, police said.
Charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs:
■ Shawn R. Mulheron, 19, Seneca Falls, was charged Thursday when he was stopped on Elm Street in the village of Potsdam, state police said. He reportedly had marijuana and alcohol in his system.
