MORRISTOWN — An Amish man accused of building an addition onto his home without obtaining a permit had his case delayed a month.

Mosie L. Swartzentruber, 38, of 151 Stowe Road, appeared Thursday in Town Court before Town Judge James T. Phillips Jr. The brief three-minute appearance for arraignment was pushed off to April 15 because a public defender couldn't make it to court.

Mr. Swartzentruber, who was cited in February 2008 for violating building codes, was charged again last month with failure to comply with the codes.

Code Enforcement Officer Lanetta Kay Davis cited Mr. Swartzentruber for an addition made to his Stowe Road home without submitting a building plan to the town.
