FORT DRUM — Timothy Clermont, an automotive worker helper in Fort Drum's Logistics Department, was identified Wednesday as the man who was found dead Tuesday between a Camp Hale Road fence and the lawn tractor he was operating.

The Army's Criminal Investigation Division is investigating the incident, but does not suspect foul play.

"I know I speak for all of Fort Drum, soldiers and civilians alike, in sending my heartfelt condolences to the family of Timothy Clermont. Our thoughts and prayers will be with them during this very difficult time," said Col. Kenneth Riddle, Fort Drum garrison commander, in a news release.
