Walk-off walk dooms Wizards in NYCBL defeat

GLENS FALLS — Ethan Liederman drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift the Glens Falls Golden Eagles past the Watertown Wizards 5-4 in a New York Collegiate Baseball League game Sunday at East Field.

David Olsen went 2-for-3 with two runs batted in for Glens Falls (20-18).

Mike Ciezko scattered six hits over nine innings for Watertown (14-24). He recorded nine strikeouts and gave up just one earned run. Ben Kincaid and Robbie Gilles each had a pair of hits for the Wizards.

The two teams meet again at 7 p.m. today at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.
