CAPE VINCENT — Daniel S. Clickner, 73, of 32762 State Rt. 12E, Cape Vincent, died Tuesday, July 27, at home under the care of his family and Hospice of Jefferson County. He was born August 18, 1936, in Watertown, the son of Leon and Irene White Clickner.

Mr. Clickner married Jeanette Reynolds on November 14, 1975.

Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Paul Raymo and Leon Clickner, both of Cape Vincent; a daughter, Roxy Raymo, San Antonio, TX; four grandchildren, Heather Raymo, Christopher Persons, Aaron Raymo and Carson Howe; four great-grandchildren, Cody, Hailie, Carrie Calhoun and Ava Persons; a sister Carol Garcia, Long Island, NY.

A Celebration of Dan's life will be held at the family residence in Cape Vincent on Saturday, July 31st. Family and friends are welcome to share in this celebration which begins at 1 p.m.

Daniel graduated from Vermont Academy then served in the Army for four years. Beside his family, Dan lo'ved skiing, hunting, fishing, racing boats and gardening. Dan was known as a giving man, which gave him the most joy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given in his memory to the Agarwal Renal Center, 124 Ford Avenue, Ogdensburg, NY 13669 or Hospice of Jefferson County, 425 Washington St., Watertown, NY 13601.
