McGrath appoints Sandri as campaign chairwoman

Democrat Brian S. McGrath appointed Linda Sandri, Beaver Falls, to be his campaign committee chairwoman Tuesday. Mr. McGrath is seeking the 122nd Assembly District seat.

Ms. Sandri, according to the candidate, "will be the central decision maker for implementing our campaign plan, coordinating volunteers and working with the four county campaign committee chairs."

The Democrat organized Leanne K. Moser's successful bid for Lewis County district attorney in 2007, and also worked on the 2002 Assembly campaign of Anthony L. "Andy" Byrnes and the 2004 and 2006 congressional campaigns of Dr. Robert J. Johnson. All three candidates are Democrats.

When she's not running a campaign, Ms. Sandri is a bacteriologist at Lewis County General Hospital, Lowville.
