HOGANSBURG — After leading for more than half the race Watertown native Tim McCreadie settled for a second-place finish at the World of Outlaws late model series race Wednesday night at the Mohawk International Raceway.

Josh Richards won the race for his seventh win of the year. He passed McCreadie on lap 79 of the 100-lap event and held on to the lead the rest of the way.

McCreadie, who started third, had taken the lead by the 27th lap and maintained it until he was passed by Richards. Edwards native Tim Fuller finished sixth.

Fuller had been in the top three until his car spun around on a restart on lap 40 and he had to move to the back of the field.
