Verizon Wireless adds two cell towers in NNY

Verizon Wireless has added two cellular phone towers in the north country.

One is in Gouverneur, improving coverage and capacity in portions of Natural Dam and Elmdale, including Route 58. The other is in Dexter, improving coverage and capacity along portions of County Route 54 and Routes 180, 3, 12E and 12F.

This network expansion is part of the company's capital expansion of more than $100 million in Upstate New York.
