SUNY Potsdam’s Taylor named all-conference

POTSDAM — SUNY Potsdam’s Alexander Taylor has been selected to the State University of New York Athletic Conference’s men’s swimming and diving team.

Taylor, a sophomore from Port Ewen, was named to the second team. He finished second in the 100-meter breaststroke at the SUNYAC Championships in Buffalo, just missing the school record by four one-hundredths.

Taylor also took seventh in the 200 breaststroke and 200 individual medley.

The top three finishers in individual events make the all-conference teams.
