Ferris earns Atlantic 10 rookie of the week

Carthage native Katie Ferris has won the Atlantic 10 conference rookie of the week for the second consecutive week for her play with with UMass women’s lacrosse team.
Ferris has 10 goals over her last three games, including two game-winners. She had four goals and an assists in the Minutewomen’s 11-4 victory of UNH last week.
She currently ranks second on the team with 11 points. Her 10 goals is tied for second.
