IHC’s Exford signs with Division I junior college

Immaculate Heart Central baseball standout Dustin Exford has signed a letter of intent to attend Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, a Division I junior college considered one of the top two-year schools in the country.

Exford just completed a stellar career for the Cavaliers. He went 8-0 on the mound this season with an earned run average of 2.81 while striking out 89 in 52 1/3 innings. At the plate, Exford batted .378 and tied for the team lead with 26 runs batted in.

Northeastern Oklahoma is located in Miami, OK. The Norsemen finished 38-19 this past season under coach Roger Ward.
