SUNY Canton Hires Golf Coach

SUNY Canton has hired Kevin Maginn to be the coach of its new men’s golf program, which will start competing in the upcoming school year.

Maginn, a PGA certified professional, has been the general manager and director of golf at Canton’s Partridge Run Golf Course for the past 11 years. He is a master Teaching Professional certified by the United States Golf Teachers Federation and he earned a Specialty Certification in Instruction from the PGA.

Men’s golf is one of three new sports teams SUNY Canton is starting this year, including women’s volleyball and women’s lacrosse. The men’s golf team will use Partridge Run as its practice and home course.
