SLU's football team begins defense of its Liberty League championship Saturday when the Saints (1-2 overall) host the Merchant Marine Academy at 1 p.m. at Leckonby Stadium.
The Times caught up with SLU senior running back Marcus Washington, who has rushed for 422 yards in the first three games of the season, to discuss the upcoming conference schedule as well as his career in Canton.
