FORT DRUM — The post is inviting soldiers, civilians, retirees and their family members to provide input on how the Army can improve their quality of life.

Delegates, who already have been chosen, will take part in the annual Fort Drum Army Family Action Plan conference Oct. 17 to 19 at the Commons. Those who have suggestions, complaints and concerns should fill out a form at the Army Community Service office, on Conway Road.

Delegates will be split into groups dealing with medical, family support, benefits and soldier-related groups.

“We’re hoping to get some new fresh ideas to be able to push up to the big Army for changes that family, civilians and soldiers would like to see made,” conference program manager Amanda E. Thompson said.

At October’s conference, delegates will work in groups to decide which issues they will pass on to the Army and which issues could be fixed at the local levels.

“If some of these issues are able to be fixed locally, we fix them locally,” Mrs. Thompson said.

Those with questions are encouraged to call Mrs. Thompson at 772-9611.
