Deployment ceremony set today for Drum battalion
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2011
FORT DRUM — The 10th Mountain Division will hold a deployment ceremony today for the 7th Engineer Battalion.
The battalion will deploy to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Army officials said.
The ceremony and the casing of battalion colors will begin at 11 a.m. at the 6-6 Hangar on Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield.
The ceremony is expected to last one hour.
