Watertown high school running back Diamond Williams has been cleared to play this weekend following concerns that he may have suffered a concussion.

Williams visited a doctor, underwent standard concussion tests and was ultimately cleared to play earlier this week. It was determined that he did not suffer a concussion in Watertown’s 14-8 regular-season finale loss to Indian River.

The fifth-seeded Cyclones play at No. 4 Jamesville-DeWitt in the quarterfinals of the Section 3 Class A tournament on Friday.
