Five Fort Drum men charged with disorderly conduct in Sunday morning fights

Cops charge 5 Fort Drum men with fighting in city

Watertown police broke up two separate fights early Sunday morning and charged five Fort Drum men with disorderly conduct.

Three were cited in a 1:20 a.m. disturbance in the 500 block of Newell Street. Summoned to City Court are Matthew R. Teague, 21, Robert M. Golden, 24, and Ronald M. Refermat Jr., 26. Police said Mr. Golden was additionally charged with resisting arrest because he attempted to pull Mr. Refermat away from the grasp of patrol officers.

Another fight broke out at about 2:05 a.m. in the 500 block of Arsenal Street, prompting the arrests of Kevin L. Bruno, 21, and Thomas E. Mullaly, 24.
