Fort Drum General nominated for promotion

FORT DRUM — A general at the post has been nominated for his second star. Brig. Gen. Kenneth R. Dahl, deputy commanding general for support, 10th Mountain Division, was one of 28 named by President Barack Obama for promotion to major general.
Gen. Dahl has been at Fort Drum since September 2009, when he was brought in with fellow Brig. Gen. Harry E. Miller, who left the division Jan. 17.
