Watertown — Mary E. Secor, 69, 17481 U.S. Route 11 Rutland Estates, Watertown, passed away Wednesday, January 25 at the Samaritan Medical Center.

Born May 7, 1942, she was a daughter to EllaMae Barnett. She was educated in local schools. A marriage to Richard D. Secor, Sr. ended in divorce.

At age 62, Mary retired from the Eagles Club where she worked as the bar manager for several years. She was a Auxillary member of the American Legion & the VFW, as well as a member of the Eagles Club. She will be remembered as a very good cook, and as having a special way of making people laugh.

Surviving are her long-time companion, Chuck Locke, Watertown; a daughter, Jean Tabolt, Watertown; a son, Richard D. Secor, Jr., Evans Mills; 2 sisters, Lois Laforty and Eva Marino, both of Watertown; a brother, Lyman Barnett, Fonda, NY; 5 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren.

She is pre-deceased by a sister, Sandra Brothers, and 3 brothers, Edgar, James, and Robert Barnett.

The memorial service will be Monday, January 30, 2012, 11:00 am at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. There are no calling hours. Burial will take place at North Watertown Cemetery in the spring.

There will be a luncheon at the Eagles Club following the memorial service. All are invited to attend.
