Salvation Army thanks Times for support

I would like to take this time to say thank you very much for all that the Watertown Times does for the Watertown Salvation Army. Without people like you, we would not be able to assist so many people in need in our community.

Old Newsboys Day was a great success, raising over $32,000 for the first time ever! I would like to thank the Watertown Times, as well as Mary Sawyer, for the many hours that she gave to help improve this fundraiser. Mary gave such support and input to help make Old Newsboys Day the success that it was. Thank you for offering the iPad as well as a full page ad to try to get more civic groups involved. I appreciated that very much.

The Watertown Daily Times continues to help our organization in so many ways. In the six years I have been here, I have always been able to call the Times when we have a need and we are helped immediately. I thank Rebecca Madden and the wonderful job she does to make the community aware of our services and needs.

Thanksgiving this year was such a blessing, with the help of the Times, we were able to once again provide a wonderful community Thanksgiving meal. I could go on and on with the many times that the Watertown Daily Times has helped us.
