Turin garage destroyed by Friday afternoon fire
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2012
TURIN — A garage in the village was destroyed by a Friday afternoon fire.
Turin firefighters were called at 2:44 p.m. to the Regina Brown residence at 6350 E. Main St. and requested mutual aid from Constableville and Lyons Falls fire departments.
The garage and its contents were deemed a total loss, according to Lewis County Fire Coordinator James M. Martin.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation. There was insurance on the structure.
