It is becoming increasingly annoying to realize Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s administration may receive, or already has behind closed doors, a pay raise for all their “hard work.” Most state workers are enduring a pay cut, frozen cost-of-living adjustments and must forfeit pay.

I’m puzzled as to where this money from taxes, fees and revenue goes from these pay cuts. Maintaining the governor’s mansion and perks? Luxuries to us common folk.

It’s also infuriating to hear condemnation of our new president and the disrespect given him. Look at the horrible conditions he stepped into. The previous administration set this country back 50 years, and President Obama is expected to fix this in four years? It will take many administrations to get back on track or even close to where President Clinton had this country. No cooperation from Congress, I might add.

Just more cuts to the poor, middle class, education and health care. The wealthy will never pay their fair share because the wealthy control America. Thank you, George Bush.

Mitt Romney states he’s not concerned for the poor. Red light. Gingrich wants to put a colony on the moon. Now, there’s a case for moon blindness if I ever saw one.

No wonder the Statue of Liberty has tears, and Uncle Sam is stomping on his top hat.
