Copenhagen woman “critical” after accident

CHAMPION — Cassandra S. Hodge, 19, Copenhagen, was listed in critical condition Monday afternoon at Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, after suffering undisclosed injuries in an accident at about 6:40 a.m. on County Route 163 in the town of Champion.

She was transported by helicopter.

State police said she was heading northwest when she lost control of her vehicle on a curve. The auto slid off the road and struck a tree, police said.
