Carey, Weninger win weekly awards

St. Lawrence forward Greg Carey and goalie Matt Weninger each won a weekly ECAC Hockey award for their play during the weekend.

Carey was named the ECAC Player of the Week after scoring three goals and two assists as SLU swept Quinnipiac and Princeton.

Weninger took the Goalie of the Week honors by allowing just four goals over the two games and making 59 saves.

The Saints have won four straight ECAC Hockey games and improved from tied for last place to alone in seventh in the conference with four games left to play.
