Gary S. Dusharm, 41, of 642 Emerson St., Apt. 2, was arrested early Tuesday after city police alleged he entered without permission the apartment of his former girlfriend and subjected her to physical contact.

He is charged with two counts of felony criminal contempt, as well as second-degree criminal trespass and harassment. Meanwhile, he faces another felony contempt charge from an arrest Jan. 19 in an incident involving the same woman.

Police were called at 12:18 a.m. to the residence of Christine S. Sinclair, 194 Cedar St., who alleged that about 10 minutes earlier Mr. Dusharm had entered her apartment and had placed his hands on her during an argument, police said. The alleged actions violate terms of a Family Court order of protection.

He was taken into custody shortly after 2 a.m. in the 600 block of Coffeen Street.

The Jan. 19 arrest also was made after he was accused of entering her apartment without permission.
