Daisy I. LaRose, 79, Watertown

Watertown — Daisy I. LaRose, 79, of California Ave, died Friday February 10th at the Samaritan Medical Center where she had been a patient since Wednesday.

Mrs. LaRose was born December 14, 1932 in Black River, NY to William and Harriett (Windover) Williams. She was a graduate of Black River High School. Mrs. LaRose worked for Faichney’s, TYCO, Sherwood Medical and retired from Chesborough Ponds. She married Gaylord LaRose, Sr. February 22, 1953. Mr. LaRose died in 2000.

Surviving are 3 daughters Mary Lenway, Watertown, Gail Bishop, Carthage, Marion Murray, Watertown and a son Gaylord Grant LaRose, Jr., Carthage, a sister Patricia Berger Watertown, a brother Charles Windover, Lowville, several grand children, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A sister Norma Sprague and a step sister Kay Sweet died before her.

The Funeral Service will be Wednesday February 15th, 6pm at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4pm-6pm. Burial will be in the spring at Glenwood Cemetery.
