MORRISTOWN Alfred R. Al Honeywell, 64, of Yankee Street Road died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center, Ogdensburg.
Born November 5, 1947 in Watertown, NY, he was the son of Harry A. and Thelma Root Honeywell and graduated from Alexandria Central School in 1965.
He married Sandra Heath in 1965. The marriage ended in divorce.
He married Mary Jane Hazelton.
Al was a member of the Robert Marckwick Post 798 Sons of the American Legion, Philadelphia, the Sons of the American Revolution, Honeywell Family Association and a former member of the Redwood Fire Department.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, bowling and helping others.
Survivors include his companion, Diane Whitmarsh, Morristown; his wife, Mary Jane, LaFargeville; two sons and their wives, Richard and Lorraine, Raleigh, NC and Steven and Shelby, Philadelphia; a daughter, Lisa Honeywell, Philadelphia; a step daughter, Dawn Brondo, TX; a step son, Brayton Alguire; a foster son, Leslie Dollinger, Alexandria Bay; five grandchildren, Chelsea Clark, FL, Alysa Honeywell, Theresa, Makenna, Seamus and Sawyer Honeywell, all of Philadelphia; two step grandchildren, Catherine Brondo, TX and Coque Brondo, TX; and a daughter in spirit, Penny Whitmarsh, Addison, VT.
A step son, Terry Alguire, Jr. died before him.
