BRASHER FALLS The Ogdensburg Free Academy hockey team closed out the Northern Athletic Conference Division II season by skating to a 5-2 victory over St. Lawrence on Monday at the Tri-Town Arena.
Brandon Mullin and John Tayler each supplied a goal and an assist as OFA (14-6) charged out to a 3-0 lead en route to the victory.
Trey Lawrence, Dustin Harper and John Giglio also scored for the Blue Devils, who are seeded second in the Section 10 Division II playoffs and have a first-round bye.
Luke Arquiett and Zach Arquiett scored for St. Lawrence (10-9-1), which hosts Tupper Lake at 7 p.m. Thursday in a first-round Division II game.
David Prudhomme made 26 saves for OFA.
The other first-round game in Division II pits Malone against Norwood-Norfolk at 7 p.m. Friday in Norfolk. Top-seeded Salmon River received a bye.
In Division I, top-seeded Massena hosts Canton and the Islanders play at Potsdam on Saturday in the semifinals. Both games are scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
